Annual Conference

At the yearly ERA Annual Conference members and non-members meet for a conference on the development of the gravure process and its markets. Apart from technical issues the conference also discusses socio-economic issues related to the printing industry. The regular Management Meeting (General Assembly of the members) and the annual Associate Members Meeting also take place during the Annual Conference.

Packaging & Decorative Conference

At the ERA Packaging & Decorative Conference members and non-members from packaging and decorative printing as well as the supply industry meet to discuss current developments in the markets and the technical development of the gravure process related to segments packaging and decorative gravure.

Packaging & Decorative Gravure Award

The ERA Packaging & Decorative Gravure Award is the opportunity for all participants in the production chain to show gravure quality in packaging printing. The award promotes gravure as the key printing process for packaging and decorative products and encourages and recognises technical innovation as well as achievement in gravure production technology.

The ERA Packaging & Decorative Gravure Award is presented every two years at the Packaging Conference. Applications are open to members and non-members from all around the world. Check the news section for up-to-date information.

Publication Gravure Award

The European Rotogravure Association ERA and the EUROGRAPHIC PRESS, the Association of leading European trade journals for the graphic arts industry in fifteen countries, organise once again the competition for the best quality in publication gravure printing in Europe, the European Publication Gravure Award.

The ERA Publication Gravure Award is presented every two years at the Annual Meeting. Applications are open to members and non-members from all around the world. Check the news section for up-to-date information.

Gravure Seminar

This seminar, arranged jointly by ERA and the Media Faculty of Stuttgart University (Hochschule der Medien, HdM) gives an overview of the gravure process in two and a half days. Training will be given using the new Rotomec gravure press at the HdM. Participants are limited to 10 per course, allowing for hands-on experience in the practical sessions. The course is designed for newcomers to the industry, whether technical, managerial or sales. It does not aim to produce fully trained press operators.

The ERA Gravure Seminar is held two to three times a year in German and English language. It is open to members and non-members. Check the news section for up-to-date information.

Gravure News

The ERA magazine Gravure News includes reports about events, trends and technical developments, as well as company reports and socio-economic issues with respect to the gravure industry.

The magazine is published at least once a year and is circulated in a print run of 1500 copies worldwide within the gravure community . Check the news section for up-to-date information.
